Start with the windows you want replaced
List the units you want reviewed and state whether the existing openings should remain the same size and shape. A replacement window inquiry is different from creating a wider or projecting opening. Describe the arrangement you want rather than assuming every photograph represents a routine unit swap.
Our window planning articles discuss documented exterior arrangements and questions for a property-specific proposal. Finished images do not establish concealed framing, a support system, a product manufacturer or the installation sequence behind an opening.
Product choices and the existing opening
Discuss the operating style, frame appearance and selected product alongside the retained exterior. Ask that the proposed unit, installation approach and applicable product warranty are named in writing. Performance claims should come from the selected product specifications rather than a general promise about every replacement window.
If the request involves a bay or a different arrangement, say so before comparing prices. The support and framing requirements need to be determined for the actual home. This page does not assign a universal structural detail, permit rule or conversion price to all properties.
Siding and trim around the unit
A window connects to surrounding wall cladding and trim. Ask whether existing material will remain, be temporarily removed or be replaced in selected areas. Fiber cement siding and vinyl siding are separate material choices for those walls, not automatic additions to a window estimate.
Window surrounds and corner details can also influence the finished appearance. Compare their profiles and colors beside masonry and the new frame. A wider photograph of the elevation helps show how the opening relates to the rest of the home.
Finishing and upper roof details
Exterior painting applies where retained trim or wall surfaces need a new finish. Material repair, window replacement and coating work should be distinguished. Painting the surround does not establish that the unit was replaced, and replacing glass does not identify the state of the wall behind it.
If a small roof cap or flashing detail sits above the opening, include that as a separate question through our roofing services. Ask which upper connection and finishing areas belong in the proposal so the estimate does not leave the boundaries unclear.
A comparable window estimate
Compare the same number of units, selected products, opening changes, included trim and finishing. Confirm current availability, the applicable warranties and what happens to retained exterior surfaces. There is no verified universal window price or energy-saving figure supplied here, so neither is invented.
For a Buford or Lawrenceville home, or another community on our service-area list, explain the units and surrounding surfaces you want reviewed. The actual condition and selected product determine the scope, not proximity to a local landmark.
Real work and a clear next step
EZY Exteriors is family-owned, established in 2000 and working from the Buford and Lawrenceville area. Browse documented projects, inspect the photo gallery and read customer reviews. Project photos illustrate confirmed work; they are not a promise that your home needs the same scope.
We serve the communities listed on our service-area page, including Lawrenceville and Buford. Describe your property and what you want reviewed rather than relying on a broad exterior remodeling label. A ground-level overview and close-up of the concern can help explain the request.
Financing is available. See our financing information and ask about current options with your estimate. We do not publish unconfirmed rates, service price ranges or approval promises.
Request a written estimate. Free estimates are for homeowners on work they plan to have done. Pre-purchase assessments for a property you do not yet own cost $100, credited toward your project if you hire us. The ownership question and fee acknowledgement keep that distinction clear.
